COZY CAMP CIDER

May 11, 2023

Looking for a warm and satisfying beverage to enjoy on a chilly autumn day? Try this delectable hot whiskey cocktail recipe that's perfect for warming you up from the inside out!

To start, gather your ingredients, including apple cider, cinnamon sticks, orange juice, cloves, and star anise. Begin by heating these ingredients in a pot, bringing them to a boil and then simmering for 5-10 minutes.

Meanwhile, grab your trusty Firelight Flask and fill it up with 5 ounces of your favourite bourbon whiskey. Once the cider mixture has simmered to perfection, remove it from the heat and pour it carefully into your flask until it's about 3/4 full.

To make sure your cocktail is just right, take a moment to taste it and adjust the flavour to your liking by adding more cider or bourbon as needed. Once you've achieved the perfect balance, seal your flask up tight and prepare to savour the warm, comforting flavours of your homemade hot whiskey cocktail.

When you're ready to serve, simply pour the mixture into your favourite tumbler and enjoy it steaming hot. This cozy cocktail is best savoured on a chilly fall day, perhaps next to a crackling fire or while snuggled up under a cozy blanket. So, go ahead and take a sip - your taste buds will thank you for it!
